The Sun Java System Application Server 9.1 has two free new downloads: Update 1 and Update 1 with HADB - Zip/File Based. Based on Project GlassFish, the Sun Java System Application Server is a Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE) 5 compatible platform for developing and delivering server side Java applications and web services.

This software offers support for clustering and in-memory based high availability. NetBeans integration enables rapid development of Web 2.0 applications capable of leveraging multiple languages including as Java, JRuby, and JavaScript. Support subscriptions are available. The same as the above update release, except that it adds HADB for 5-9s of session availability. The installer used in this bundle is a zip/file based installer.
