Capacity on Demand for Sun SPARC Enterprise M4000 - M9000 Servers
Pre-configured, On-Demand, CPU/Memory Resources

Now get Capacity on Demand (COD) on the SPARC Enterprise M4000 through M9000 servers. Capacity on Demand is a "pay when used" model that offers organizations needing extra capacity the ability to meet those needs as they arise. There is also a "Headroom" option available that provides instant access to COD resources while RTU licenses are being purchased.

Sun Fire E2900 Server with 1.95GHz UltraSPARC IV+ Processors
Available with Sun System Performance Packs

The Sun Fire E2900 server now offers 1.95GHz UltraSPARC IV+ x-option CPU/memory boards. The 1.95GHz UltraSPARC IV+ 64-bit chip multithreading (CMT) processors provide up to five times the throughput of UltraSPARC III technology and up to two times increased throughput over UltraSPARC IV systems on commercial applications.
