The latest version of the Solaris Express Developer Edition 5/07 includes new functionality such as new compilers and development tools. The new version is designed to be an advantage for developers who are working with applications that will run on multi-core chip architectures such as the Sun UltraSPARC T1 processor. It has also been optimized for servers being developed based on Sun's 64-thread Niagara 2 processor. Sun Studio 12 software is also included.
