Repurchase Plan from Sun for $3 Billion of Outstanding Stock
Plan Designed to Enable Sun to Pursue Strategic Opportunities for Growth

Sun's Board of Directors authorized the repurchase of up to $3 billion of the company's outstanding common shares, according to a Sun press release. The repurchase plan is designed to increase shareholder value and reduce the dilutive effect of Sun's equity compensation programs.

IPTV Services in Asia Pacific and India Powered by Sun Streaming System
New Test Lab Opening in India

The Sun Streaming System will form part of a new IPTV lab at India's Tech Mahindra facilities to offer IPTV services to the Indian and Asia Pacific markets. The lab will test the Sun Streaming System so potential customers, OEMs and ISVs can validate solutions.
