At the 2007 JavaOne Conference, Sun announced a new family of Java technology-based products -- JavaFX software. The first product will be JavaFX Mobile software. JavaFX Mobile is a complete mobile phone software system available via OEM license to carriers, content owners and consumer electronics manufacturers.
Java Application Platform SDK Update 3 Preview 2 streamlines enterprise application development and improves productivity for developers building, testing and deploying Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE) 5-based applications. This free, integrated development kit also supports Java SE 6 and the latest technologies in the Java EE 5 Specification.
Winners of the fifth annual Duke's Choice Awards were announced May 8 at the 2007 JavaOne Conference. Winners included the game "24: Agent Down" in the Best java.com Application category, a software suite from Lawrence Livermore National Lab, and a student writing revision website developed by the SAS Institute.
JavaHelp software version 2.0_04 is now available for download from the Sun website. The new version features native browser support and changes to the API for accessing frames.
