Fujitsu And Sun Microsystems Announce New Servers with SPARC Processors
Six Fast SPARC Enterprise Mission-Critical Servers

Fujitsu and Sun introduced new servers based on the SPARC architecture and running the Solaris 10 operating system (Solaris OS). There are six new models. These systems deliver up to 50 percent more performance than current SPARC-based servers.

New World-Record Setting Modular Disk Low-Cost Array: Sun StorageTek ST2500
Storage Networking World Spring 2007 Announcements

Sun expanded its modular disk storage family with the addition of the Sun StorageTek ST2500 Low Cost array. It is Sun's first serial-attached SCSI (SAS) storage array, and it achieved a world record for price/performance. Other storage news from the Storage Networking World Spring 2007 event includes new storage software versions and new features for existing Sun storage products.
