OpenSolaris Starter Kit
Install on a Laptop or Home PC

Erwin Tenhumberg, on his blog, said he installed the latest Solaris OS build on his laptop. While the installation and configuration "was not as smooth as with Ubuntu" it is now "stable and fast." The OpenSolaris Starter Kit can get you up and running also.

Atlanta OpenSolaris User Group: What's new with NFS in Nevada
Tuesday. March 20th

This month, Alok Aggarwal will give us an update on What's new with NFS in Nevada, as well as what new features have been put back in the last several Nevada builds. Alok is a member of the Solaris engineering team and one of the developers of NFS in OpenSolaris.

As usual, there will be time for discussion of other OpenSolaris topics.
