Sun successfully completed the tapeout (initial design completion for first fabrication) of its new "Rock" processor. It will allow Sun to expand into the high end uses of CMT.

    Ricoh Contributed Code to NetBeans Mobility Pack for CDC
    New third-party support and contributions have been made to the NetBeans 5.5 IDE, including the NetBeans Mobility Pack for CDC 5.5 with code contributions from Ricoh Corporation.
