There's so much to learn about the new Java SE 6 release that we are presenting some more information this week -- enhancements and new features in the Collections Framework and in Deployment (see article [17408]).

A new build of Sun Studio Express is available [17430], and a new resource is available online for commercial software developers, a new info hub on BigAdmin [17427].

Security issues don't take a vacation: there is a vulnerability in the JRE [17425] and more in Solaris LD.SO [17417]. For the CIO and CPO who may find themselves with new responsibilities on the job, take a look at some of the suggestions in a new Sun white paper in article [17401].
