IDC Reports Growth in Sun Disk Storage and Tape Storage
New and Updated Sun Storage Solutions Bring Value to Customers

IDC research for Q2 2006 shows that in disk storage, Sun grew the fastest of the major disk storage vendors, with 13.4 percent revenue growth year over year. Sun extended its number one position in UNIX disk storage market share (units) to 37.6 percent, more than double the nearest competitor. Sun also achieved growth in tape storage.
