McNealy Discusses Open Source for Education at MIT Forum
Making Tomorrow's Researchers and Developers out of Today's Students

A recent MIT forum on education, Sun Chairman Scott McNealy encouraged others to join him in work to make better educational tools to reach more students. McNealy has been working on an educational initiative called the Global Education and Learning Community (GELC), a non-profit organization with a mission to make open-source software available to the world's kids for free.
