Sun has announced a trade-in incentive program for customers wishing to upgrade from the Sun Fire V100 or Sun Fire V120 server to the Sun Fire V210 or Sun Fire V240 server. Allowances on trades of the Sun Fire V100 or V120 Sun Fire to the Sun Fire V210 are eight percent; on trades to the Sun Fire V240 are 12 percent.
Sun is offering its customers savings of up to 15 percent on trades of qualified Sun and non-Sun systems to the Sun Fire T1000 and Sun Fire T2000 servers with CoolThreads technology.
