The Sun Fire E6900 server and the Sun Fire E25K server were introduced August 15, 2006. They can be configured with UltraSPARCR IV+ 1.5GHz or 1.8GHz processors. The new UltraSPARC IV+ processor-based Sun Fire servers are the midrange and high-end implementation of Sun's successful enterprise-class systems architecture.

The minimum configuration purchase requirements for this promotion are:

• Sun Fire E6900 configured with 1.5GHz or 1.8GHz processors: 1 board minimum configuration requirement

• Sun Fire E25K configured with 1.5GHz processors: 3 board minimum configuration requirement

• Sun Fire E25K configured with 1.8GHz processors: 2 board minimum configuration requirement

Eligible trade-in servers include Sun Enterprise, Sun Fire, IBM, Fujitsu, HP, and Dell servers listed as accepted for trade in as part of Sun UAP.
