Oracle Reports Q2 GAAP EPS up 24% to $.53; Q2 NON-GAAP EPS up 18% to $.64 [28982]
New Software Licenses and Cloud Subscriptions Up 17%; Trailing Twelve Month Operating Cash: $13.5 Billion
Oracle reported 2013 Q2 total revenues up 3% to $9.1 billion, and new software licenses and cloud software subscriptions revenues up 17% to $2.4 billion. Hardware systems products revenues were $734 million. GAAP operating income was up 12% to $3.5 billion, and GAAP operating margin was 38%. Non-GAAP operating income was up 9% to $4.3 billion, and non-GAAP operating margin was 47%. GAAP net income was up 18% to $2.6 billion, while non-GAAP net income was up 12% to $3.1 billion. GAAP earnings per share were $0.53, up 24% compared to last year while non-GAAP earnings per share were up 18% to $0.64.

Oracle Quarterly Results Show 41 Cent EPS [27723]
Cash Flow Reaches $14.0 Billion
Oracle reports that Q1 GAAP EPS rose 15% to 41 cents, while Q1 non-GAAP EPS climbed 11% to 53 cents. At the same time Oracle's trailing 12-month operating cash flow increased 9% to $14.0 billion . President Mark Hurd projected growth in two sectors: Exadata, Exalogic, Exalytics and our other engineered systems grew more than 100% in the quarter. For the full year, we expect to double engineered systems sales to well over $1 billion. Oracles new cloud business is also approaching a $1 billion annual run rate. These two businesses will drive Oracles growth for years to come.
