HospitalConnect Joins 50 Member Sites in American Hospital Association [9063]
Web Portal Uses Sun Infrastructure, Interwoven TeamSite Software
Using a battery of Sun products that includes the SunTM ONE Portal
Server, SunTM ONE Application Server, SunTM ONE Directory Server,
SunTM ONE Web Server, SunTM ONE Messaging Server, Sun
EnterpriseTM servers and Sun StorEdgeTM systems running the
SolarisTM 8 Operating Environment (Solaris OE), the American Hospital
Association (AHA) has created a Web portal called HospitalConnect that

A Workaround for Binding and Look Up
While SunTM ONE Application Server 6.5 (formerly iPlanetTM Application Server) supports binding of JavaTM 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EETM) objects, it does not support binding of custom objects. Venkata Yella and Marina Sum provide a workaround enabling the binding and look up of custom objects with the SunTM ONE Directory Server (formerly iPlanetTM Directory Server).
