CommunityOne is a conference sponsored by Sun Microsystems focused on open source innovation and implementation. It brings together developers, technologists and students for technical education and exchange. Two conferences are planned in 2009: CommunityOne East in New York, March 18-19, 2009, at the Marriott Marquis (Broadway and W46th St.), followed by CommunityOne West in San Francisco, June 1-2, 2009, Moscone Center (Howard St. between Third St. and Fourth St.) The deadline for submittal of proposed talks and sessions has been extended to January 15, 2009.
